Rescued two girls aged 20 and 25, victims of trafficking and sexual exploitation
After weeks of work, the Mumbai Smiles team, in coordination with the police, have managed to rescue two girls, 20 and 25 years old, who were being sexually exploited in a spa in Virar West, north of Mumbai.
In this video we have put all in detail how the rescue mission took place. This operation marks a turning point in their lives, since now they will be able to recover their freedom and autonomy, but it will not be easy.
They will have the support of #MumbaiSmiles. We will also present ourselves as private prosecution or witnesses in the case, to prevent those responsible from going unpunished.
