HUMAN TRAFFICKING

At Mumbai Smiles we fight peacefully to end human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation. We tackle the problem starting with prevention among the most vulnerable people, through raising awareness and education, and we also work to rescue and rehabilitate the survivors.

Explaining and denouncing the situation of poverty, inequality and violation of rights suffered daily by millions of people in the areas where we work, through different activities and formats, is the first step towards gaining support and changing this reality.

The persons we work with face fundamental needs in order to live in dignity. This programme facilitates access to basic health and hygiene services, support for community development, or care for particularly vulnerable homeless people.
