We are in the 5th phase of lockdown, as recently declared by the Indian government, and Mumbai is amongst one of the cities which are highly affected by Covid 19 pandemic.

While there are many people who are travelling miles to reach their native places, there are thousands of people who do not have a shelter and are counting each day on the road in the sweltering heat of summer.

Mumbai Smiles Foundation has been distributing food and hygiene supplies to cater to the basic needs of their beneficiaries from the early phases of the lockdown and now we have also extended care to many of the families residing on streets in the nearby areas by distributing cooked food and water.

Till now we have reached approximately 14,900 people including our project beneficiaries. Apart from distribution of food items, we have also helped our beneficiaries for their mental health and education needs by reaching out to them via regular phone calls.

We always thank you, our donors, to help us reach out to the real needy people in these testing times.
