Food distribution at Kamathipura

 In COVID-19, Human trafficking

We are always blessed by our donors and well-wishers across the world who are always directly or indirectly involved in our objective of eradication of poverty. Thanks to them, today in this covid pandemic we are not alone!

This week we are helping some needier and largely affected group of beneficiaries in Kamathipura area. We have distributed food grains, masks and sanitizers around 150 women with whom we conduct Butterfly project and awareness activities in the last year. Some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude by saying, “for the last few days we were just having bread and tea during the Ramadan fasts, but after receiving food grains we could have a complete meal after so many days.”

Although we can’t support them face to face these days, our Mental Health team is always available to speak to them and resolve their emotional issues. We help them maintain their mental health in the difficult situation of covid 19 lockdown.
