Meet Laura Mora, volunteer of Mumbai Smiles

 In Voluntariado, Volunteer

Today we want to introduce you to one more members of the Mumbai Smiles volunteer family. She is Laura, a graphic engineer, addicted to reading and, recently, in love with ceramics. Her help comes to us from Las Palmas de Gran Canarias in the form of designs for our social networks. Do you want to know what her contribution to Mumbai Smiles is? Let’s read it in her own words!

Since when have you been collaborating with Mumbai Smiles and what is your job?

I have been collaborating since October 2020 with the Mumbai Smile Communication Department. In addition to making designs for social networks, I have also been the creator of the Christmas card for the year 2021. This design made me very excited!

How did you find out about the organization and what led you to become a volunteer?

2 years ago I discovered the book “Mumbai Smiles: the journey that changed my destiny”. His story had a great impact on me and, above all, the involvement and dedication of Jaume Sanllorente. So I wanted to be part of this organization in some way and here I am, being one of the team.

Would you like to travel to Mumbai to get a closer look at the Mumbai Smiles projects?

I have never been to India, so I think being able to travel to Mumbai would be a way of getting to know first-hand the work that the organization does.

A message for those people who have not yet decided to take the step of collaborating with Mumbai Smiles

I would encourage everyone to collaborate. With very little, we can help a lot.

Greetings to all.

Thank you Laura, both you and your art make us fall in love!
