It’s raining SMILES this Monsoon!

At Mumbai Smiles, we believe in spreading smiles. And our major support comes from our donors and visitors, who support us not just with their generosity but also with their encouraging and kinds words and who also help us with their word-of-mouth publicity post their visits to our projects.

With heavy rains early yesterday morning, we were extremely happy to welcome Luisa and Victor who came directly to our Mumbai Smiles office as soon as they landed in India! This was Luisa’s second trip to India as well as to Mumbai Smiles. She had earlier visited the SEED project three years ago and yesterday she was excited to pay a visit to our Balwadis as well! Both Victor and Luisa were very tired after a long flight and sleep deprived, but their excitement to go to the Balwadi was so contagious!

“Thank you so much and Many congratulations to you all. You are doing a spectacular job by helping these communities grow in every way; in the manner that we all have grown. Keep growing and keep smiling!” exclaimed Victor and Luisa with wide toothy smiles on their face, post their visit to our Balwadis.

The magnitude of the problems faced by a slum dweller can only be felt, not read and we try to do our bit by becoming a part of their lives in some small ways through our projects.
