Handicraft Training – SEED

A while ago, we had conducted a parents meeting wherein we were informed by the parents the need for handicraft training. 75 women attended this meeting and their requests were put forward.

Owing to the demand, we have started 2 batches of Handicraft in Park sites areas. One is in Ambedkar Nagar and the other is in Shivaji Nagar slum areas. This batch timing is from 1pm to 3pm and 3pm to 5pm which is a  suitable time for women and girls. Handicraft teacher Mrs. Sushila Shinde has rich experience in this course. She is currently teaching them hair rubber bands and jumping ropes; which the ladies have grasped very quickly. Kalidas Rote visited the centres and received positive feedback.
