Visitor’s Comments – Yaser

Meet Yaser, an avid traveler who, on his trip to India, decided to visit our organization and our projects. At Mumbai Smiles Foundation, we receive almost 200 or more visitors each year, who hear about our projects through various media, be it through print media, through subway ads, through some documentary of our work or through our Founder – Jaume Sanllorente’s book, which is published in 9 different languages and is available across the world, or through a supporter of ours who act as our ambassadors. Yaser is also one such supporter from Spain, who spent some time with us, visiting our projects including the Preschool Education centres and the Life Skills Empowerment sessions, by taking out an entire day from his travelling schedule.

Extremely humble and generous, Yaser was extremely moved by what he saw in the communities where we work. When he saw the contrast of this city and how millions are living in hand-to-mouth conditions and then he saw the impact our projects are able to make in some of these areas, he really appreciated our work and extended his whole-hearted support to us, “It has been an absolute pleasure to have the opportunity of knowing you and above all, to thank you for the marvellous work that you are doing for and with the community. And before anything else, I’m left with the smiles of the children and seeing the sparkle in their eyes is a gift of life. I hope you continue your work for many years to come.”
