Mumbai Smiles is ready to Get.. Set.. Run for a Cause!

Every Mumbaikar (local word for residents of Mumbai) is familiar with the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM) that takes place annually and is the largest Marathon in Asia. It is a huge event not only for professional athletes, but for people from all walks of life, including amateur runners, Bollywood personalities, NGOs, businessmen, students and anyone and everyone. Each year, this platform provides an opportunity to the development sector to register and run for a cause in the various categories provided, to help them raise funds for the specific cause.

This year, Mumbai Smiles Foundation is participating in this Marathon for the first time, with four in-house runners (employees of the organisation) and one big-hearted student who has shown interest in running for our cause, that is to raise funds for one of our preschool education centres, and we are all so very excited about this!
