Marta ad friends visit Govandi preschool

Recently, Marta and her friends happened to visit our Mumbai Smiles Foundation office in Mumbai while on a trip to India. With a packed itinerary, they had close to half a day to visit our office and understand the work we do.

A visit to showcase our projects is probably the best way to explain the kind of work we do at Mumbai Smiles. Being short on time and considering the chaotic traffic in Mumbai during office hours, we headed out to visit our pre-school being run at Govandi. They witnessed the condition people live in this area and were surprised to see them smiling, despite the lack of amenities and abject poverty.

The kids at the pre-school were rather excited to meet Marta and her friends and were very delighted to receive them and chat with them. With only half a day at hand we had to limit our visit to just one pre-school.

Marta offered to contribute to our noble cause by offering a donation to Mumbai Smiles to carry on the good work.
