World Cancer Day: Photos

Yesterday, February 4, was World Cancer Day 2013.

As we told you in this post, we had organised a motivational talk and meditation session for patients and families at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Andheri (E) by experts Aruna Ben and Tapaswini Ben, as part of the HOPE: Care for Children with Cancer project that Mumbai Smiles implements.

This is a project that provides underprivileged child cancer patients and their families with various forms of support — from financial to psychological — to help them cope with, and beat cancer.
