The world of opportunities awaits every person who is ready to grab them. In the wake of establishing themselves, SEED women ensure that there is no stone untouched when it comes to succeeding in their endeavors. SEED project aims at empowering women from underdeveloped communities in Mumbai and training them in employable or self-employable courses. Mumbai Smiles supports their zeal by developing holistic programs for them that not only ensure skill acquisition but also ensure appropriate skill utilization.  The placement rate for employable courses has been 80% in the last year and for self-employable courses it was 50%.

For continued augmentation in the SEED development chart, Mumbai Smiles organizes workplace readiness training which involves providing the beneficiaries with the appropriate soft skills to get placements. On 6th and 7th of September, YUVA (Youth force Mumbai) organized a similar training program for 50 women from Advance Beautician Class. Ms. Kavita Chandekar, Coordinator- Youth Rights interacted with the women on various topics like Self-awareness, facing interviews, Goal setting, Financial literacy, time management and motivation. The sessions encouraged a lot of discussions and participatory activities were conducted in order to make the women confident in a group. After this program all beneficiaries made the resume. The beneficiaries shared that the training helped them to set up the goal and relate that with their career. They got confidence for giving the interview and understood the importance of unity and team work. The beneficiaries have begun to face interviews in companies and beauty parlors located in the vicinity.
