Meet our intern!!!

As Mumbai Smiles is progressing towards its vision of alleviating poverty by focusing on projects in Education, Health and Livelihood; few sensitive youths have showed their responsibility towards society by volunteering with us.

Mr. Vedanta Chakrabarty, a first year BA & LLB student at Christ University, Bangalore is one of them. He has done his ISC (High School) from Jamnabai Narsee School, Juhu, Mumbai, one of the renowned schools in the town. He is passionate for Tennis and drumming and other than that he really wants to use his skills and expertise for charitable causes.

He has chosen the Future Smiles project for internship and his guide is Ms. Sarvoparita, Unit head – Education and Development, Mumbai Smiles.

The profession he will pursue in future is closely linked to societal upliftment. This internship experience at Mumbai Smiles will definitely help him open his horizons of visions and look beyond the superficial gimmicks existing in the society; so that he can work for core issues of concern.
