Volunteer Spotlight: Vaidehi Save
Meet Vaidehi Save, a dentist by profession who has completed her graduation (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from Terna Dental College in Navi Mumbai and is currently volunteering with Mumbai Smiles Foundation.
Vaidehi is preparing for her Masters and with her studies, she has a very busy schedule. But that hasn’t stopped her from volunteering with the Community Health project at Mumbai Smiles. Having joined us in February 2016, she has helped us with organising dental camps in our partner schools and project communities from scratch with complete dedication, perseverance and lot of enthusiasm!
Starting with the medical preparation for the camp to advanced dental treatments for the patients identified at the camps, Vaidehi handled the responsibilities of the patients and their treatments with much commitment. We cannot thank her enough for all the help has provided to us and our citizens and really appreciate all the hard work she has put in to help us fight poverty the health concerns that associate with poverty, without any expectations in return. Thank you Vaidehi for your care and attention to our citizens and in taking a step closer to achieving our dream of seeing a poverty-free Mumbai!
