Jaume’s 2 day visit to India!! – Day 2

In our earlier blog, we mentioned that Jaume made a 2 day visit to India and met the Hope beneficiaries and the Balwadi students during the first day of his trip. This entire experience was very gratifying for him.

On his 2nd day, Jaume visited the Yashodhan School. He has some very old memories attached with this institution since the very first development work (constructing a laboratory when the school was in need of it) that he took up in India was related to this school. He met everyone there after a long span of 4 years. The team was delighted to meet him and honored him with garlands. Coincidentally, there was a certificate distribution event that was being held simultaneously. This event was with respect to a drawing competition that was conducted sometime earlier. Jaume was urged to distribute the certificates to the winners of the competition. This visit brought back all his memories of the school.

After the Yashodhan School visit, Jaume went to meet the SEED team. However, at the site, he noticed women engaged in making flowers for a consignment for St. Jordy’s day, which is observed on 23rd April every year in Spain. Seeing the women, he also got involved in the activity. He further took out time to travel to a tailoring center in MIDC area in Andheri, where he spotted women engaged in stitching bags for an online shop. Jaume was extremely motivated and inspired after viewing all the aforementioned activities.
It was a memorable 2 day visit for Jaume as he got a chance to evaluate the progress of various projects,which made him realize that his efforts were finally fructifying. !!
