HOPE Project observes World Cancer Day

 In Project HOPE

To commemorate World Cancer Day, HOPE Project, that provides psycho-social support to children suffering with cancer organised a motivational talk by Prajapati Brahma Kumaris representatives at Holy Spirit Hospital’s Chemo Ward.

DSC07984The children also participated in meditation which would aid them in being calm during a difficult time. Then a session was held wherein the families interacted and also watched motivational interviews of celebrities who beat cancer at some point in their life. The event was attended by all cancer patients with relatives including Hope beneficiaries as well as adult cancer patients and sisters and nurses of the hospital.

DSC07983The beauty of this event was the kids participated in it irrespective of ongoing chemo; brave soldiers indulging in merry making even though times were difficult. We salute them!

Project Coordinator, Supriya Dhumal gave a vote of thanks to Miss.Tapaswini and her team who gave the very inspiring motivational talk.
