Champion of the Month

The champion of the month is a part of our psychosocial activity in HOPE Project wherein every month we honour the brave heart child suffering with cancer. For the month of January 2016 Master Amin Qureshi 9 year old, who is suffering from PNET/Ewing’s Sarcoma since 2014 was honoured.

His journey began from Manav Kalyan, Prince Aly Khan Hospital to Holy Spirit Hospital for different tests and treatments. He has successfully completed 8 Chemo cycles and 40 Radiations in Holy Spirit hospital with a strong spirit.

Honouring that spirit on 28th January 2016 we awarded, Amin Qureshi Champion of the Month with gifts in presence of Holy Spirit hospital representatives and the HOPE team, beneficiaries along with parents and siblings as well.

Amin was thrilled receiving the presents and celebrating this day. He felt livelier to be surrounded by the people who recognize his fight and are with him every step of the way. His parents were also appreciative of this celebration that, even if for a day, made them move away from daily struggles that cancer brings along.
