Developed minds lead to a developed nation!!

While the nation celebrated its 67^th Independence Day on the 15^th of August; the children of our Balwaldi too joined in to celebrate this happy occasion.

It was celebrated across all the 23 Balwadis running under Mumbai Smiles. On this occasion several activities were carried out for the Balwadi kids. The activities included fancy dress competition, singing songs, reciting poems etc. For the kids it was sheer fun and joy as they were part of activities which were somewhat different from their usual routine classes. They rejoiced in it a lot as they wore bright new clothes and on being asked about it, they responded back saying; I am wearing my favorite dress portraying my favorite character.

Such events foster a holistic development of the child by helping them to be encouraged and inspired by their favorite personalities. Sowing the seeds of healthy habits, positive thoughts and an unbiased mind- frame among the children not only helps them grow into a better citizen and human being, but also leads to a bright future of the country.
