Balwadi children’s performance evaluation

Monitoring and Evaluation is an integral aspect of all the projects that are implemented at Mumbai Smiles. Recently all the children at the 25 Balwadis were evaluated for different parameters like general knowledge, alphabets, numbers etc. The Monitoring and Evaluation officer, Amit Dambhare along with Health Unit Head Dr. Nirmal Ahuja monitored the process. The main objective behind conducting these performance evaluations is to ensure that progress on both academic and nutritional aspect is made by the children. 

785 children were evaluated by the teachers for annual academic performance which also included aspects about their health. On 15^th April Performance cads were distributed to the children with a class photograph.
