Scholarship distribution to HOPE beneficiaries!!

On 9th July 2015 scholarship was distributed to HOPE beneficiaries. This event was organized with the motto to secure the future of our HOPE beneficiaries by educating them and addressing their issues in a holistic way. Seven beneficiaries were given scholarship during the event.

Executive Director India, Mr. Narendra Dundu addressed the parents of the beneficiaries talking about the importance of education in a child’s life. He said that each beneficiary is very close to the organization and we value all of them for being strong during tough times. He assured  to deliver best services to them through our project.

We believe that education is a fundamental right of each and every child. Education plays a very pivotal role in building the values, morals and principles in an individual. In the HOPE project it is even more crucial as the treatment of the disease drains the family of all financial resources. In such case even if the child has recovered from the disease, there are more chances of her/him dropping out from schools. Thus to support the education of the kids Mumbai Smiles provides scholarships for a bright future ahead.
