Pol and Mireia visit Mumbai Smiles
“The ultimate value of life depends upon awareness and the power of contemplation rather than upon mere survival” – Aristotle
Through our New Glances Project, we try and spread this message of awareness and value of life. We organize visits for people from all over the world and allow them to visit and be a part of our various projects for sometime. The visitors visit our project sites, experience the progress and leave with an indelible impression. Ever since its inception, Mumbai Smiles has had an exceptional number of 2000+ national and international visitors from across 21 different countries.
One such visit was organized on 3rd November 2014 for Pol and Mireia, residents of Spain. While in Mumbai, they visited the Balwadis, SEED, HOPE and LSE project sites. They were delighted to be a part of the day to day activities at these projects and had to say the following about us:
“Before the visit, we didn’t really know much about Mumbai Smiles apart from what we had seen in one of the documentary films sometime back. We arrived at the organization for a visit an hour before the scheduled time, and in this extra time, we read Jaume’s book on ‘Mumbai Smiles’. After visiting the projects, we have come to know of the wonderful work that has strengthened our belief in the message “When you want to do something you can.” The visit has made us very optimistic. Seeing the progress at Balwadis, HOPE, SEED and finally Future Smiles, we are sure that the beneficiaries will have a good future. Our best wishes to the organization and thank you for giving us this opportunity.” – Pol and Mireia
Thank u Pol and Mereia for such a feedback. We look forward to see you again in future.
