Monthly meetings conducted to monitor the activities of Balwadis

In the first week of January 2014, various area wise meetings were conducted to review and monitor the activities of all the Balwadis. These meetings are conducted every month as a part of review process of the balwadis. These meetings aid in addressing the problems of various Balwadis and consequently, taking suitable action. The dates of the meetings conducted were as under:

Marol: 9th  jan 2014

Sangharsh Nagar: 6th Jan 2014

Powai: 3rd Jan 2014

Kanjurmarg: 7th Jan 2014

Vikhroli: 8th Jan 2014

The meetings were held between 2-4 p.m. The Balwadis covered included 8 balwadis of Marol pipeline, 6 of Sangharsh Nagar, 6 of Powai, 2 of Kanjurmarg, and 1 of Vikhroli. At each of the area meetings, 1 teacher from each Balwadi was present, along with the assistant, the field coordinator and program Officer (Vikas).The agenda of meetings included review of last month’s activities of each balwadi, display of toys and educational material, cleanliness of Balwadis, punctuality in balwadis, beneficiary contribution/fees collection, awareness of upcoming years admission, drop out forms submission, receipts book submissions, asset book submissions, leave applications submission, food and visit chart updation.

All the meetings finally concluded with a vote of thanks from the teachers and field coordinator.
