Khairani Road Eye camp

Eye care and treatment is one of the critical projects run by Mumbai Smiles in the communities of Andheri East. The 2^nd Diabetic Retinopathy and Eye check up camp was conducted on 29^th May at Khairane Road, in collaboration with Aditya Jyot foundation, Mumbai Smiles and Yash Foundation.

94 people were screened, 7 were detected with cataract, 9 were recommended for further evaluation of Eye aliments and 69 were detected with a refractive error. Khairani road community members were really happy since the camp was organized in their community for the first time. These camps also aim at creating awareness about eye disorders and their early detection among community.
