Children’s Day celebration for HOPE beneficiaries

On 29th November, 2014, the HR Department of Courtyard Marriott Hotel organized a Children’ day celebration for our HOPE beneficiaries at Holy Spirit Hospital. Parents and siblings of beneficiaries were present with them to provide the requisite support. The main objective behind this event was to allow HOPE beneficiaries to forget their health worries for some time and have some memorable moments.

Deepika, from the HR team of Courtyard Marriott Hotel, arranged cakes, snacks and gifts for HOPE beneficiaries. The program started with introduction about HOPE project and Holy Spirit Hospital. Post the introduction, cakes were cut and snacks were distributed among members.  During the event, members from Holy Spirit Hospital , HOPE team of Mumbai Smiles and Courtyard Marriott Hotel got an opportunity to interact and know more about each other. The entire atmosphere was full of joy and beneficiaries forgot their worries for a while.

Priyanka and Pushpanjali, two of our HOPE beneficiaries attended the event for the first time and were extremely delighted to be a part of the event. Puspanjali’s father, Sanjay Guada, gave the following feedback: “I was very happy and enjoyed the event thoroughly. I feel like part of a family now.”

The event ended with a vote of thanks from Supriya and with distribution of gifts among beneficiaries.
