Change agents receive training on time management

In Life Skills Empowerment, Mumbai Smiles

A key habit that productive and successful people share is effective time management. They are able to allocate sufficient time towards achieving their targets and towards habits that promote overall efficiency. Training in time management can make a crucial difference in the lives of young people, especially as they are on the verge of completing their education and starting to step into their professional careers.

The Higher Education project recently conducted a training workshop on time management for its Change Agent beneficiaries—young girls who have undergone the Life Skills Empowerment module as students and are now helping other students in the LSE programme. The session was conducted by Sachin Bhagat, the Programme Manager,  who explained the importance of time management. He helped the participants to differentiate between productive and unproductive tasks. They were also asked to maintain a daily diary where they can track their daily routine and incorporate time management skills. More workshops on such relevant topics are being planned for the coming months.

This was also the first time that our founder and General Director, Jaume Sanllorente, interacted with the Change Agents. The girls were very happy to meet him and shared how the programme is helping them to learn useful skills that are not taught in school or elsewhere.
