Champion of the Month

Sahil Deshmukh, born 4th December 1997 is an Indian TV actor who has been spotted in various Hindi Serials. He started his Tv carrier from Zee TV serial Aapki Antara as Abhishek. Sources inform that Sahil who was seen in Veer Shivaji and Aap Ki Antara as Antara’s brother Abhishek has been cast to play the role of young Akbar.

Teen actor Sahil Deshmukh, who essayed young Akbar in “Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap”, has unfortunately quit the show after he was diagnosed with lymphoid leukaemia. Sahil was diagnosed Lymphoid leukaemia in October 2013. Grown up in the world of glamour the onset of this disease came  as a rude shock to him and his fans. He is also the only son in the family.

He has completed 8 chemo cycles successfully on Oct 2015. Now he is on maintenance phase. To honour his struggle we celebrated his endeavours by making him the Champion of the Month. On the occasion of day, O.P.D of Chemo ward was especially decorated by chemo ward Nurses and also Hitesh and Nikunj. With a heavy heart, Sahil broke down his feelings during the program. He was upset and depressed for he had to leave his acting career due to the illness. But his Mother and maternal grandmother were very supportive and took good care of him during the treatment.

Him and his mother, Reshma extended their special thanks to Holy Spirit Hospital staff and nurses and also Mumbai Smiles team.

Sr.Metilda, Sr.Shruti, and Sr.Navmani also gave him gifts. Post celebration; distribution of After that Nutrition supplement (Dry Fruits) and Complan (donated by CPAA organization) was done.

Gifts (story books) donated by Instituto Hispania were also distributed among the beneficiaries.
