Birthday Celebration at Wadia Hospital
In collaboration with CanKids organisation and Cuddles Foundation, we celebrated the birthdays of our beneficiaries suffering with cancer at Wadia Hospital, our newest partner. It took place in N.M.Wadia Auditorium.
The event started off with a warm welcome note. A magic show was also organised by Mumbai Smiles performed by Shriraj, the Magician. Post the entertaining magic show, CanKids organised a Parent Support Group Forum especially for parents or other care givers of the children diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Ankit gave a talk providing basic information about cancer and also interacted with the parents who had any queries while Volunteer, Asma played games with children in the corridor.
Once the questions were answered and duly noted, the celebration began by cake cutting. The kids whose birthdays were celebrated were Manasvi Patil, Irhan Shaikh, Prem Bhagat, and Amey Bhoir. They were thrilled and overjoyed bringing a smile on their faces. After this, gifts were distributed to all of the kids present there, this was organised by Cuddle Foundation and we organised the snacks. It was a collaborative effort of three organisations coming together to make this day memorable and eventful for the kids. A special token of appreciation goes to Ms. Kavita and Lata, Social Workers, CanKids for managing the event so beautifully.
It’s great job done by Mumbai Smiles for the children’s. Because somewhere organization try to smiling people which can at-list help them to come-out from their problems and pain for some time or day’s.
