SEED, the name for skills development program, aims to equip women & girls from low-income backgrounds with tangible, marketable skills that can help them earn a proper livelihood.

In our last blog on SEED project we told you about the women getting training in Advanced Computer course. We are now happy to share with you that we started our 3rd batch for this year in “Retail Sales” for the girls in slums of Marol Pipeline area, Andheri (E) on 8th of April 2013. A total of 30 girls have got enrolled for this course.

The training program, with sessions every afternoon from 4pm to 6pm for the past 14 days, has seen around 30 girls learn Retail Sales skills.
Here, in these photos, you can see the training in progress, with the girls thoroughly enjoying this learning experience.
