Hitesh and Pushpanjali, our HOPE beneficiaries pass HSC exam with flying colors

To succeed it is important to have faith in your efforts. The relentless efforts of our HOPE project beneficiaries Hitesh Makwana and Pushpanjali Gaud bore the sweetest fruits of success for them. In the rush of HSC exam results these two heroes, fought through their disease and made their parents proud by scoring commendable marks in their 12th exams.

Hitesh Makwana is our 18 years old HOPE project beneficiary suffering  from  Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL- A type of cancer) since  2012. He  has completed 7 chemo cycle in Tata Memorial hospital and 7 Radiation in holy spirit Hospital. Now he is undergoing the maintenance stage at Tata Memorial Hospital. He studied in class 12th (Commerce) at J.H Collage Borivali E and scored 60% in his HSC exam.

Hitesh Makwana

Pushpanjali Gaud is 17 year old HOPE Project beneficiary. She is suffering from Ewing’s sarcoma/Primitive neuroectodremal tumor of bone (a type of cancer) from Sep 2014. She underwent a surgery in Unatti Hospital in Kandivali   and completed 25 Radiation at Holy Spirit Hospital in December 2014. Despite the tough treatment stage she managed to score a glorious 58% in her 12th exam. She is still undergoing treatment.
