General Director of Mumbai Smiles International visits India

In November, the General Director of Mumbai Smiles International, Alexandra Haglund Petitbó visited the Mumbai Smiles office in Andheri. She comes down to India couple of times a year to assess the various projects and connect with the Team. During her stay, she conducted meetings with the Mumbai Smiles Team and the various Project Heads. She also chaired two beneficiary meetings organized by the Balwadi project team and the Hope Project team. Both these meetings helped in evaluating the impact of the projects and addressing the concerns of beneficiaries. She also met with the members of Technical Advisory Committee, who shared their expertise and introduced her to many references. The cognizance of Action Plan 2014 encouraged and motivated her as there will be positive outcomes and improvements in various projects. Results have already started showing and more is expected to come in 2014, especially with the launch of new Craft cum Tailoring Centre in Powai.
