Future Smiles Team organizes exam preparation workshop

Senior Secondary Examination is the base of our education system. A good percentage  in these exams allows students to pursue a career of their choice.Hence, it is imperative that students score well in these exams since it will be one of the factors for their admission to a Pre University Course in India.

However, this performance pressure creates a fiercely competitive environment, requiring every student to perform to the best of his/her capabilities, and thereby producing a lot of exam related stress for students. To tackle this issue, the Future Smiles Team of Mumbai Smiles organized an exam preparation workshop at 2 of the partner schools, Marathi Madhyamik Shala at Powai and Vidyadeep School at Vikhroli

At Madhyamik school, the workshop was organized on 28th January 2014  by Mr. Ketan Awhad. 24 students participated in the session. A similar workshop was conducted at Vidyadeep School, Vikhroli by Mrs. Reshma Sawant on 24th January 2014, where a total of 40 students, comprising of 28 boys and 12 girls,participated.

During the session, the resource person guided the students on:

• Paper pattern
• Time management.
• Methods to attempt various papers
• Letter writing techniques

We believe that such workshops will aid students in managing stress, consequently enabling them to attempt their exams more effectively.
