Dental Camp Organised at Partner School

To create awareness about dental related problems and provide low cost and feasible dental treatment for the school children from the 5th-10th Std; a dental camp was organised in collaboration with Indian Dental Association at R. C. Maruti School.

There was a team of 10 doctors that screened the children under Dr.Nikhil Ahuja and Dr.Kunal Oswal’s supervision. Two camps were set up wherein 960 children were screened out of which 600 of them had problems such as Dental caries, Lose Teeth, Yellowish, Discolouration of teeth.

Post the screening the children were also given a talk on how to maintain hygiene for the teeth and were provided with toothpaste.

The teachers and the Principal were pleasantly pleased with the camp and said, “For the first time such a camp has been organised. Apart from studies; such camps are also essential for the overall development of the child”.

Mumbai Smiles provided free of cost Extraction, Filing, and Restoration in collaboration with IDA (Indian Dental Association) under Dr. Nikhil Ahuja’s supervision.
