Future Smiles project focuses on children and youth in the age group of 14 – 23 years. It aims to support school drop outs, needy slum children & youths who can’t afford to have good education; regardless of their good academic record. At Mumbai Smiles we believe that every child and youth has the right to have access to best of the educational facilities. They lay the foundation for a better society and the future of a nation.

For the year 2012 – 2013 we reached out to 162 beneficiaries in Andheri east area. 74 boys and 88 girls benefited from this project. It was a remarkable achievement for Mumbai Smiles to enroll 39 youths in professional courses which included Engineering, Diploma in Engineering, Bachelor’s in Social Work, Bachelors and masters in Computer Application, Fashion Designing and Nursing. Apart from this 43 got enrolled in graduate courses, 79 for Higher Secondary, 5 for Secondary and 1 for primary.

Our work is not just confined to getting them admitted in the above courses but we also do constant follow up for each and every beneficiary. We assess their progress by having frequent meetings with the school and college authorities.

We believe ourselves to be the bridge for these students to cross the barriers of poverty and give them wings to fly high in the open clear sky.

It’s rightly said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
