Beneficiaries of the SEED Project learn so much this Diwali including excellent chocolates

This Diwali brought a lot of light and colour to the lives of the SEED beneficiaries. They were involved in multiple opportunities that came about their way. Be it the stalls that were organized by the Axis Bank Foundation, orders by professionals in the industry, order from Sutherland and other institutions or the greeting cards order from Spain, they had their hands full with work.

Some of the new products that were created this Diwali was chocolates, Diyas and Candles. The women were trained prior to the festive season on how to make these products. A thorough training was conducted by our trainer , Suchitra , who took them through the nuances of how to make these products.

The women were trained successfully and got on to the job almost immediately and the results were wonderful. They were organized, meticulous and hard working. They put their hearts and focus into the development of the products. The Mumbai Smiles training floor was buzzing with activity for over 60 days this festive season and it was worth the effort taken!
