Awareness Rally organised on World Tuberculosis Day

Propagating WHO efforts for Unite to End Tuberculosis by 2030, we organised an awareness rally on World Tuberculosis Day. This rally was done jointly with the BMC. Participants included 300 students and other government officials which included the BMC Health Department officers.

Dr. Arun Nakwa, AHO BMC health department, Dr. Kankutkat, Sr. Medical Officer BMC, Dr. Chandure, DTO BMC, Dr. Nirmal Ahuja Unit Head (Health & Nutrition) Mumbai Smiles and BMC health department officer were present in Event. They gave speech on Tuberculosis, its preventions and measures to curb. Mrs. Smita Sawant, BMC was also present and addressed the event.

Apart from the rally, a TB awareness talk was also organised. We also set up our Project stalls to make people aware of our work.

This activity created a positive impact in the communities of Marol, educating them of Tuberculosis.
