Giuliana and Mauricio visit Mumbai Smiles
Awareness is knowledge and knowledge is power, hence with greater awareness of social norms and problems arises better understanding and lasting solutions. The New Glances Project at Mumbai Smiles aims to raise awareness nationally and internationally about the situation and life conditions of millions of people living in the slums of Mumbai. It is through this project, that people from all over the world get an opportunity to visit our project sites, experience the progress and thus leave with an indelible impression. Ever since its initiation, Mumbai Smiles has had an exceptional number of 2000+ national and international visitors from across 21 different countries so far.
On 19th February, Giuliana and Mauricio, residents of Brazil, visited Mumbai Smiles. During their stay here, they visited the Balwadis, Holy Spirit Hospital and SEED handicraft center. They shared the following feedback with us:
“Thanks for sharing all this great work that you have been doing. It is not just about the projects itself but the impact that Mumbai Smiles is making in the lives of so many families. Congrats. Our special Thanks to Natasha!”
In fact, they have shared their experience with Mumbai Smiles on their blog through a wonderful article. Please click on the following link to read the same. http://www.historiaspelomundo.com/
