Birthday Celebration at Holy Spirit Hospital

Mumbai Smiles organises such birthday celebrations to provide, even though its temporary, relief from mental stress and break free from the mundane environment of a hospital.

Attendees of this celebration include our HOPE beneficiaries, their siblings, parents, and peers. Also present were Sr Metilda, Sr Reena and Sr Beena, representatives of HSH and Mrs. Smita Shivatharkar(Field Coordinator for mMitra Project.

To overshadow the gloom of a disease such as cancer, we try to bring about activities that could help divert the kids and their families mind.

During such events, we put up shows and entertainment for them. This time, there was a magic show and as no birthday celebration is complete without cake, we also cut cake and distributed gifts and snacks.
