Welcome to Mumbai Smiles family, Elia & Josep!

Elia and Josep are both physiotherapists, who, on their trip to India, decided to visit our projects and ended up becoming a part of our Mumbai Smiles family! Elia, who works as consultant at two different places towards neurological rehabilitation while working on her own project as well with Josep. Josep, or Pep (as he is fondly called), who started his career in the field of paediatrics and special education, moved on to traumatology before settling down at sports physiotherapy. Together, they have a rich experience in dealing with children and so their interest in our projects as most of these are for children and women.

On their visit to Mumbai Smiles Foundation, Elia and Pep visited our preschool education centres and our Life Skills Empowerment session where they interacted with the tiny little kids and the adolescent girls. Having attended the sessions of both the projects, they were very impressed with the course of the sessions and the interaction with the beneficiaries. “It has been an unforgettable experience, a great Mission of life. We really wanted to know about the project and we have not been disappointed, everything we saw was incredible”, said Elia, to which Pep added, “Komal has informed and explained all the projects in proper manner everything is very incredible and you all are doing good work together.”
