Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.”- H. Jackson Brown Jr.

All volunteers at Mumbai Smiles believe in the above philosophy and truly make a difference by giving back to the society and helping us achieve our objectives. One such volunteer is Jay Solanki, who recently undertook the initiative to improve our website and data base support.

Jay has a background in electronics engineering and currently works with an analytics company. This clearly demonstrates his flair for writing codes for machines and computers and hence he was interested in contributing in similar areas. During his volunteer stint with us, he developed codes for creating a database for our new website. The database shall ensure that whatever information is entered by the viewer gets stored at one place, enabling ease of access and better decision making later on. Self-driven and self-motivated, he undertook prolonged conversations over the phone to understand the backend operations of website. He researched on relevant topics and developed the codes in the appropriate format. He also helped in understanding the technical aspects about launching the website.

Thank you Jay for your thorough and objective support. Your association was very helpful and your contribution was definitely substantial in making a difference.
