Visitor returns after 8 years!

The New Glances Project of the Awareness vertical of Mumbai Smiles is always more than happy to receive visitors and guests and take them on a visit to our projects. Many of our guests leave our project sites with a wide smile on their faces and extremely positive feedback for us and also help us in spreading awareness about our projects through word of mouth or various means of the social media. This in turn helps the project achieve its goal of sensitizing and spreading awareness among the international guests.

But last week turned out to be so joyful for us when Danilo, a freelance photographer from Brazil visited us for the second time! Back in 2008, when he had visited us for the first time, he had shared with us some of his beautiful photographs taken at our project sites and upon request, he was so kind to even lend some of his lovely shots to our President Mr. Jaume Sanllorente for his first book, “Sonrisas de Bombay”.

This time around, he came to visit us with his girlfriend, Sarah.

Visiting our Balwadis and one of our Future Smiles partner schools and once again, Danilo, once again, captured some fantastic shots of our projects and beneficiaries and was so very generous to share them with us too. Take a look:

Having come the second time, Danilo was very happy to see the progress of our projects over the last few years. Leaving us on a positive note, Danilo and Sarah said,

“Thank you Natasha (New Glances and Awareness Coordinator) for your kindness and for accompanying us to your lovely projects. This is my second opportunity of coming to Mumbai Smiles and I’m returning to Brazil even happier after seeing your wonderful work. Continue helping these children as it is only through love and education given to them that we can accomplish in making this world a better place for everyone.”
