Uniform distribution for preschool tiny tots

Do you remember the thrill of getting a new school uniform at the start of the school year? It is a fond childhood memory for many of us. However, many children in our country are deprived of these small joys because their families cannot always afford to buy them new uniforms.

To share the joy of getting new uniforms with a host of little ones, Mumbai Smiles organised the distribution of uniforms to 374 students at its preschools and 230 students of the Livelihood Preschool for the new academic year (2018-19). The distribution was organised on 29 August 2018. It may seem like a very small thing for many of us, but these uniforms will bring joy and motivation to these little students and will also lighten the financial stress faced by many of their families. We hope the preschoolers feel happy and raring to go in their sharp new clothes!
