Solidarity for a cause!!!

Celia and Manu who have been associated with Sonrisas de Bombay for long and have significantly contributed to projects that aim to improve the lives of many people in India by Biblao awareness in situations of social exclusion and poverty that had affected millions of Indians. Their project is called “Slice of Biblao in India” and is launching their solidarity initiatives at a Restaurant named Lepanto.

For this our Spain office has invited people to take some time off their busy schedule and attend the exhibition of photographs on educational projects undertaken by Mumbai Smiles photographer Jorge Zamakona.

These photographs will be auctioned for raising funds for two Balwadis. This exhibition will start at 19:00 hrs on June 4. And anyone who can’t make it to the exhibition can contribute by buying a card with one of the fantastic pictures for 10 Euros. Spain office expects that the small gesture of solidarity by people in Spain will result in raising 8710.04 Euros which will be used for supporting two Balwadis run by Mumbai Smiles in the slums of Andheri East.

This generous effort from the people of Biblao will be a reason to celebrate for many kids in Balwadis.
