SEED women beautifying their lives!

SEED is the name of the Mumbai Smiles initiative that helps women by teaching them substantial marketable skills; providing them with opportunities for self-employment as well as financial independence.

As we told you in an earlier blog post, our fourth batch of “Beautician’s course” for the women and girls of the slums in the Marol Pipeline area has been progressing brilliantly. The beneficiaries are being trained under a very able instructor, and have come a long way since the course first began.

Here is a look at the batch in session, on their way to becoming self-sufficient women in the near future!
