Green Batti set to glow: Recruiting mentors

Mumbai Smiles and Thincquisitive are marching towards the common goal of reaching out to children in the time of need and anchor their lives. Mumbai Smiles recently launched a one on one mentoring program by the name of ‘Green Batti’ that will pair 150 mentors from various professional backgrounds and mentees from underprivileged communities to help them make informed decisions.

Recently Thincquisitive began its recruitment process for enrolling 150 mentors for our beneficiaries. The process saw, collaborative banners displayed at prime locations in Mumbai like Bandra to attract professionals to contribute towards the project. The mentors’ main role will be to guide the mentee about various aspects relating to health, Life Skills, Social skills, and develop a socially sensitive perspective. The mentors will be a reliable source of support and information for the mentee.  Through this program we aim to reach out to students at the time of making important personal and professional decisions and help them to access appropriate social support.
