First Day at Preschools!

When we think about the first day of our school what we remember is the excitement, the anticipation, and the butterflies in our stomach.

18^th June was the first day at all the preschools of Mumbai Smiles. There were smiles and tears. Not only children but also their parents were very happy and also nervous. It was the first time out of the house for their children. It was the day they have dreamt of since the birth of their child. Leaving the child away from them was not that easy for these moms.

The schools will be for short time in the beginning so that the children and teachers will get some time to know each other.

For some children, it is a completely new place. For some, crying doesn’t start until they see other kids doing it. It’s almost like peer pressure — you can almost see the thoughts forming in the little one’s head: “If he’s crying, then there must be something I should be upset about, too.” And there is a chain of crying. These first few mornings are always a mixture of emotions and happiness.

We blessed these children for their bright and happy future.
