Educational support for beneficiaries at Samta Vidyamandir School

Our Primary and Higher Education project focuses on helping underprivileged children and adolescents complete their primary and secondary education. The project’s interventions are thus aimed at providing financial support through scholarships to deserving students, and supporting the educational needs of students with essential school materials.

Towards this end, school utility kits with 1 school bag and study kits with 10 notebooks, 1 compass box and 10 ball pen sets, were distributed to 10 primary school students and 14 secondary school students from Samta Vidyamandir School.  Increased access to school materials will prevent school dropouts owing to financial constraints,  thus helping them fulfil their educational goals.

The school’s trustee Mr. Rajesh Subedar acknowledged our work towards helping beneficiaries study hard and pursue their dreams. The principal of Samta Vidyamandir School expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Mumbai Smiles Foundation for lending support to his students.
