Aniket tryst with determination to build a career in the banking sector.

Hard work will always pay off, our higher education beneficiary Aniket Sagar is a living example of this.

Aniket’s father was an alcoholic and a gambler. Due to the financial stress his family was going through, his mother decided to separate from his father. Aniket’s mother, the sole breadwinner for the family could not meet Aniket and his sister’s educational expenses. Unable to deal with the financial hardships, Aniket found it difficult to focus on his academics.

Since 2015, Aniket has been receiving scholarship from Mumbai Smiles to support his education. The financial support provided through the scholarship has also helped meet his sisters’ educational expenses.

Motivated to work even harder to achieve his goals and support his family, Aniket has been working in D Mart on night shift duty from 11 pm to 7 am for additional income. Support from the scholarship and job income has helped Aniket pursue a graduation degree in commerce and is currently a FYBCOM student.

Aniket is now the man of the house and a pillar of strength for his mother. Aniket aspires to become self- reliant so that he can fund for himself and his family, reducing the burden on his mother. His determination to build a career in the banking sector as a top executive makes us very proud of his journey. We wish him good luck for a bright and prosperous future!
