Butterfly project

This project supports women with education and training in life skills.

OBJECTIVE

The project aims at improving the life conditions of women and offers support and training in social and life skills, etc.

The training sessions are held at the Kamathipura Community Centre with occasional support from expert psychologists.

PRIMARY OUTCOMES

The project, launched in 2019, followed the patterns of the “Life Skills Empowerment” Project. It was adapted to the needs of these women, and is complementary to the Mental Health Project.

The contents of the project have been designed following the experience gathered in the Mental Health project, with the aim of helping these women learn to manage their daily stress. This will provide them with tools to make decisions independently and improve their life opportunities.
