“With awareness begins the urge to improve” To make the society more sensitized towards the problem of people living in slum, Mumbai Smiles designed the New Glances Project. The New Glances Project at Mumbai Smiles aims to raise awareness nationally and internationally about the situation and life conditions of millions of people living in the slums of Mumbai. It is through this project, that people from all over the world get an opportunity to visit our project sites, experience the progress and thus leave with an indelible impression. Ever since its initiation, Mumbai Smiles has had an exceptional number of 2000+ national and international visitors from across 21 different countries so far.

Through New Glances, on 18th February Audeea and Jan Willen visited Mumbai Smiles. They visited Balwadis, Life Skills empowerment project and SEED center. They left the following comment about their visit

“Thank you very much for showing us all you do for the people in the slums. It was an eye opener to us. We were excited by the things the people of Mumbai Smiles mean to the kids, girls and women! Go on! We will bring our experiences to other people we know and who want to visit India/Mumbai.”
