Annual balwadi exhibition

Last week, on January 7-8, we organised an exhibition as part of our balwadi project.

As you know, in our 25 balwadis, apart from formal learning of things like alphabets, numbers etc, our children also spend a lot of time developing their creativity and craft skills, by making things, colouring, pasting, etc.

Our teachers also develop a variety of teaching aids that help them teach the children better and make the learning more interactive.

To showcase all of this, we organised an exhibition at Kanjurmarg, where one of our balwadis is located. As you can see these photos, everything that is made in the balwadis was put on exhibition for others — parents, families, neighbours, people in the community — to see.

The exhibition drew a lot of crowd and attention, with everyone impressed and delighted with the work that is carried out.
